“The Beer Hunter” is the name of the late-1980s series produced by the UK’s Channel 4 and Discovery Channel, which explores the beer culture of six prominent brewing countries across six episodes.<\/p>\n

The series follows journalist and writer Michael Jackson<\/a> as he travels the world in search of the best beers<\/a>, educating viewers about their origins and styles<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

This is how each episode of the series began. This Michael Jackson (1942-2007) gained worldwide fame in beer circles in 1977 with the publication of his most famous book, “The World Guide To Beer<\/a>,” translated into over ten languages and still regarded as one of the foundational books on the subject.<\/p>\n
