in its Registry of Alcoholic Beverages.<\/p>\n<p>From this measure onward, only wine producers that are part of the AFC in the regions of Maule, \u00d1uble, and Biob\u00edo will be able to register their products under the &#8220;Pipe\u00f1o&#8221; \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What is Pipe\u00f1o?<\/h2>\n<p>This classification considers &#8220;Pipe\u00f1o&#8221; as an alcoholic beverage obtained from the partial fermentation of fresh grape must, prepared following authorized oenological practices and using grapes from wine-producing varieties.<\/p>\n<p>It must also have a minimum alcohol content of 11.5\u00b0GL and a volatile acidity content of less than 1.5 g\/L expressed as acetic acid.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that &#8220;Pipe\u00f1o&#8221; must be produced and bottled by natural or legal persons belonging to the Family Farming sector or cooperatives composed of them, located in the vine-growing municipalities of the aforementioned regions.
