The AnDer glass is a specialized design intended for the optimal tasting and sampling of beer, created by expert brewers seeking a better alternative to wine glasses or generic vessels, which do not always reveal the sensory nuances of this beverage.<\/p>\n

The idea for the AnDer glass was born from the collaboration between beer consultant Derek Walsh, beer sommelier Andr\u00e9 K\u00f6ppen, and glass designer Alfred De Groot.<\/p>\n

This team identified that, unlike wine \u2014 which has internationally recognized official tasting glasses \u2014 beer lacked a universal design capable of analyzing all its attributes in a professional manner.<\/p>\n

After more than three years of design, testing, and optimization, and following multiple prototypes, the AnDer glass was finalized with the help of Royal Leerdam glassworks, a European firm with a long history in high-quality glass.<\/p>\n

The model was officially launched in December 2015 and has since been adopted by both beer professionals and enthusiasts alike.<\/p>\n
