The Women in Beer Awards 2026 have opened their nominations. Driven by the Women in Beer\u00ae community founded by Am\u00e9lie Tassin and backed by the British Guild of Beer Writers, the awards return after a first edition in 2025 that received more than 280 nominations.<\/p>\n

This year’s novelty is a new category, Women Collective of the Year, sponsored by CAMRA. The deadline to submit nominations closes on 30 August.<\/p>\n\n

A Second Edition with a New Collective Category<\/h2>\n

The inaugural edition of the Women in Beer Awards, held in 2025, received more than 280 nominations and counted among its winners figures such as Kate Hyde, Lily Waite-Marsden and Melissa Cole.<\/p>\n

The awards were created to make visible and celebrate the contributions of women across all areas of the brewing industry, beyond production alone.<\/p>\n

The main novelty of 2026 is the Women Collective of the Year category, sponsored by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), which recognises groups of women who have had an impact on their communities or promoted positive change in the industry. It is the first group category in the awards, in contrast to the rest, which recognise individual careers.<\/p>\n

Am\u00e9lie Tassin, founder of Women in Beer\u00ae, stated:<\/p>\n

It has been fantastic to see how these awards were received last year. But it also confirmed how necessary this kind of celebration is for the brewing industry. The support from the industry and beer lovers has been extraordinary, and I am very proud to bring the event back this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Eleven Categories Open to the Whole Industry<\/h2>\n
